Her works are experimental and multimedia, including non-narrative video, public performance and interaction, ritual object creation and writing/design.

Her work usually unfolds in public spaces, outdoors across sub/urban byways or within internet platforms.

A native of North Carolina RACHEL has routinely migrated up and down the east cost of North America

Her focus on specific bioregions of the Southeastern US includes:

South Florida where she is currently producing Escaped Exotics eco-media on pantropical invasive plant ecology of the Miami-Dade bioregion and working as a teen media teacher and mentor with the Miami Dade Public Libraries.
